Art-in-Buildings is pleased to announce two new exhibitions opening in the atrium and lobby of 125 Maiden Lane, Eve Biddle: Offering and Langdon Graves: Mental Model.

Eve Biddle is an artist, culture maker, and collaborator. Her work lies at the intersection of making objects, making connections between people, curating, building projects and institutions, helping to bring other artists’ art into the world, and making and facilitating public art. She’s a founding co-director of the Wassaic Project, home to a year-round artist residency program, art exhibitions, music festivals, and art education programs for kids, teens, and adults.

Recent exhibitions include The Williams College Museum of Art in Williamstown, MA, Davidson Gallery in New York City, The Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art in Buffalo, NY, The Museum of Art and Design, New York City and Geary Gallery, Millerton, NY.

Langdon Graves is a Virginia-born, New York City-based artist who holds a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Painting & Printmaking and an MFA from Parsons School of Design. She is adjunct faculty at Parsons School of Design where she teaches for the First Year Program and HEOP; Assistant Professor in the Graduate Fine Arts program at Pratt Institute; and teaches young artists and educators across NYC’s public schools for Studio in a School and the Department of Education’s Office of Arts and Special Projects. Langdon has had solo exhibitions throughout the United States and participated in group shows and fairs in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia. Langdon has attended the Fountainhead Residency in Miami, the Kunstenaarsinitiatief Residency and Exhibition Program in the Netherlands, the Object Limited residency in Bisbee, Arizona and STONELEAF Retreat in upstate New York. She is a recipient of Canson & Beautiful Decay’s Wet Paint Grant and has been featured in Artnet/Art in America, Hyperallergic, Vice Creators Project, Juxtapoz, Art F City, Blouin Artinfo, the Artmatters podcast and Madeline Schwartzman’s See Yourself X.
