Artist Kevin Bongang is a man of many talents and few words, rather choosing to allow his art to speak for itself. Born in Cameroon, West Africa and raised in Savannah, Georgia, the Brunswick, Georgia resident majored in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD, Atlanta). He acquired his B.F.A. and M.F.A. (Illustration) in 2009 and 2013, respectively. There, he was able to home in on his signature style awash in bold fun colors, swirling lines and whimsical imagery. The resulting works are organic, functional, and cohesive pieces of art on both traditional and non-traditional surfaces.
These days you can find him painting murals, creating graphics for commercial brands and engaging in his local community and communities all over that he loves. Kevin works to put smiles on people’s faces, brighten children’s days, and send simple but powerful messages in the name of peace, encouragement, and positivity.
He is married to his high school sweetheart, Britney, who also serves as his art representative, paint assistant, and project manager.
His portfolio includes (but is not limited to) clients such as Pepsi, MLS (Major League Soccer), Heineken, Adobe, Shake Shack, Jamba Juice, Country Music Association, Marriott International Hotels, Spanx, Next Door American Eatery, TPA Group, and Time Equities, Inc. His work can be found all over the United States and in Japan, Canada, and China.
