Mary Mattingly is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work has been shown at Eyebeam Center for Art and Technology, NY; Clocktower Gallery, NY; Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Governor’s Island, NY; deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, Lincoln, MA; BMW Guggenheim Lab, NY; Soeul Art Center, Korea; Smack Mellon, NY; Exit Art, NY; Robert Mann Gallery, NY; Galerie Adler, Frankfurt; White Box, NY, and the 2005 Istanbul Biennial among many others. She is the recipient of many grants and awards including, Harpo Fuondation Grant, Eyebeam Center for Art and Tehnology Fellowship, The Jerome Foundation Travel Grant, New York Foundation for the Arts Grant. Mattingly has done residencies at Art Omi International Arts Center, Skowhegan School of Painting, and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. Her work has been written about in Afterimage, Artforum, Nature Magazine, New York Times, Time Out New York, and The New Yorker, among many others.
