Dylan Palmer was born in San Francisco, California, in 1975. His work is driven by the physical attributes of materials, and the tacit content that they carry. He received his BFA from Illinois State University and his MFA from Rhode Island School of Design; both degrees in glass. His work has been shown in New York, Chicago, Seattle and most recently at the Torrance Art Museum and 5790 Projects in Los Angeles, California. Palmer has completed residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, The Pilchuck Glass School and most recently Omi International Art Center. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
