Patrice Renee Washington was born in 1987 in Chicago, Illinois but as a military brat, spent her formative years growing up between both Germany and the US. She received her MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University in 2014 and BFA from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Through a multidisciplinary practice her work explores domesticity, humor, and cultural space. She currently lives and works in New York.
