Kevin Bongang: Embrace

Time Equities Inc. Art-in-Buildings is pleased to announce a new mural in Maryville, TN.

Kevin Bongang’s Embrace presents swirls of vibrant colors, shapes and forms that enliven the entryway to Foothills Mall. The mural’s title refers to the warm welcome Bongang received from Maryville locals, who embraced the artist and his colorful mural project into the community with warm, open arms.

Kevin Bongang was born in Cameroon, West Africa and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He majored in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD, Atlanta), and acquired his B.F.A. and M.F.A. (Illustration) in 2009 and 2013, respectively. There, he was able to home in on his signature style awash in bold fun colors, swirling lines and whimsical imagery. His portfolio includes (but is not limited to) clients such as Pepsi, MLS (Major League Soccer), Heineken, Adobe, Shake Shack, Jamba Juice, Country Music Association, Marriott International Hotels, Spanx, Next Door American Eatery, TPA Group, and Time Equities, Inc. His work can be found all over the United States and in Japan, Canada, and China.
