Matthew Geller’s installations, sculptures and videos have been exhibited widely including Wave Hill, Riverdale, NY; Arthouse, Austin TX; Summer Palace Garden, Dusseldorf, Germany; the Long Island Children’s Museum, Garden City, NY; Hans Knoll Gallery, Budapest; Hungary, Kunst Kanaal, Amsterdam; Stedelijk Van Abbemuseum, Amsterdam; Witte de With, Rotterdam; The Netherlands; Whitney Museum, NYC ; Museum of Modern Art, NYC; La Jolla Museum, Los Angeles Contemporary Art Exhibitions; Queens Museum; ICA, Boston; MCA. He has received fellowships from New York Foundation for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, CAPS and the American Academy Rome Fellowship Prize. Grants he has received include the Fund for Creative Communities, Manhattan Community Arts Fund, Greenwall Foundation, Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation Creative Capital Foundation , ArtsLink , the National Endowment for the Arts, New York State Council on the Arts, and the Jerome Foundation, among others.
