Rakuko Naito was born in Tokyo. Soon after graduating from Tokyo National University of Art with a BFA, she moved to New York City. She started exhibiting in New York City, Washington D.C. then Tokyo & Nagoya, Japan, Zurich, Switzerland, Munich, Germany, and Paris, France.
