The Irish artist Caoimhghin Ó Fraithile (Quee-veen O Fra-ha-la) makes sculptures and drawings all over the globe—in Asia, Europe, and America. He maintains his peripatetic lifestyle by taking on residencies in different parts of the world. Ó Fraithile received his MFA from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Columbia, MO in 2000. Prior to this, he received a degree in Sculpture and diploma in Fine Art from the Limerick College of Art, Ireland. His exhibition, “Two Times Ten,” for the Maiden Lane Exhibition Space in 2010 was his first solo exhibition in New York.
