Dominique Paul splits her time between Montreal and New York. She received her PhD in the Study and Practice of Arts from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Canada, and her MFA from the College of Fine Arts of the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Paul is represented by Miyako Yoshinaga Gallery in New York, and Galerie Domi Nostrae in Lyon, France. Since 2002, she has presented more than 15 solo exhibitions in North America and Europe. Paul completed a residency with the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council in New York and was selected for a showcase of Quebec artists at Guided by Invoices “Under The Radar: The New Visionaries.” In 2010, she was one of 20 artists selected for Art Montreal Contemporary in Shanghai Times Square as part of the World Expo events. Paul will complete a double residency in New York in 2015 at Residency Unlimited and Casita Maria Community Center.
